Heroes On the Water – Northwest Chapter held their annual Slayride tournament at Hoodsport, WA. The proceeds from this event were used to support the chapter, in order to hold more supporting events for veterans. In this event, anglers fished for chum salmon near the hood canal hatchery.
On Sept 24th Members from the Tricity Kayak Anglers met with anglers from Washington and Oregon to plan an angling adventure at potholes reservoir. It was beautiful weather to be out on the water fishing. Many anglers focused their efforts fishing for walleye, but with little luck they switched efforts toward bass. It was a great time on the water meeting new anglers, and we can’t wait for the next one. Thanks to everyone who came out!!
TCKA members recently had another successful tournament down in Hood River, OR. The tournament was put on by the Kayak Shed, who donated the proceeds to Heroes On the Water. The weather was perfect in most places, and made for a great day of fishing. Lot of smaller fish were caught during the tournament, and most who found a fish 16″ and above secured a spot in the top 10. Thank you Kayak Shed for making this tournament happen, and all who attended.
TCKA members competed at Brownlee Reservoir along the Oregon/Idaho border.
